“no Nonsense” Mae Harvey

Harvey has been playing golf for quite some time and has removed the barriers in golf for not only herself, but African-American women all over the state.

Over the years, Harvey, who is now 90, has effectively fought the stigma that golf is a predominantly white male sport. She has successfully recruited a diverse group of women to the resolute Dufferettes organization.
